Rightly Dividing The Word
BYRON: Chris Fox is an award winning Arranger, Composer and Instrumentalist. He is also the author of Fifty Ways to Pray the Word and graduate of the renowned Berklee College of Music. Since his studies, he has produced nine (9) successful CD’s; the most recent being Highest Levels of Praise. Chris Fox resides in Nassau, Bahamas where he teaches music at his private music school. Many of the most influential pastors and teachers of the Word have had much to say about his new book Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth.
SCAT: Rev. Dr. Ivan Ford Butler, Senor Pastor of Kemp Road Ministries, stated, “After reading Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, I must say this is a master piece of biblical proportion. I feel that it should be required reading to assist us all as a guide through life’s trials and tribulations. It is a work of faith, wisdom, purpose, and understanding of life.
MADDIE: Bishop Ross L. Davis, Senor Pastor of Golden Gates Assembly World Outreach Ministries, said, “I have read Chris Fox’s Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth and thoroughly enjoyed it. This book is a compilation of many themes that are an outgrowth of Chris being an avid bible student and lay member of the church. This book will challenge the honest seeker. I sincerely recommend it!”
BYRON: Apostle Paul J. Butler, Senor Pastor of Bahamas Christian Fellowship Center remarked, “This book, Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, is a timely work in that it defends and vindicates the truth of God’s Word. Chris is very exegetical and analytical in unveiling the true treasure in the Word of God in his messages and timeless truths. I highly recommend any student or scholar of the Word to draw from the treasures that have been revealed in this timely and outstanding work of Chris Fox.
SCAT: Chris Fox’s Pastor, Dr. Myles Munroe, world-renowned President of Bahamas Faith Ministries International had these words to say, “Chris Fox has done it again. This work is a breath of fresh air in its unique approach to the biblical text, which can be an intimidating experience for many of us who want to read it but don’t have the confidence. I recommend this book to the student and the scholar of the Word. Its simplicity and practical approach to the biblical concepts gives the readers powerful insight into critical concepts of the glorious redemptive story of God’s great grace. Read and be inspired, study and grow, meditate and learn.”
BYRON: When Fox was asked for a brief commentary about his new book Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, he said, “I’ve tried to put into perspective everything that we as believers would consider a problem. In my way of writing, I don’t use many eloquent words; I come straight to the point. The bible says, “The more the words, the less the meaning.” This book was not written as a negative warning, but only to expose all the errors and the untruth spoken about God’s word. God wants the best for all of his children. However, it is up to us to carefully explore His Holy Word and find out what is true so that we can avoid many stressful situations. We have to completely put our trust in God and in His Word. God cannot and will not violate His Word for anyone or anything. When we rightly divide the word of truth only then can we truly be set apart unto God by losing the old life and finding the new one that is in Christ Jesus.
As written in the forward of the book by Dr. Myles Munroe, “Read and be inspired, study and grow, meditate and learn Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth.
Revelation the Musical ( Play Script )
Revelation the Musical is a music CD based on events written in the Book of Revelation from the Bible. Chris Fox loves musicals and he said that one day his musicals would be good enough to be placed on Broadway in New York City. Chris Fox graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts in 1978 as one of the top students achieving Magna Cum Laude with a Degree in Professional Music. He is a very gifted musician and theatrical composer fondly known as the “Quincy Jones of the Bahamas.”
His fiery musical arrangements and diversified productions have established him as one of the most respected individuals in the Bahamian musical arena. Fox traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, and the Bahamas during the 1980’s as a guitarist for one of the former top Bahamian groups, the Mighty Maker Super Stars. With the assistance of his partner, friend, and personal manager, Mr. Cedric Munnings, he was successful with his presentation of the Songs in the Key of Revelation. His uncanny ability to conduct a full orchestra was impressive during the 70’s. It secured his employment as a conductor for the first-ever Bahamian orchestra in the La Cabaret Theatre on Paradise Island. Revelation took Chris Fox seven (7) years to complete. After those seven isolated years in California, New York, and Miami Beach, he came back to Nassau, Bahamas, where all the pieces of music were finally put together.
Chris said that it was very time consuming trying to create a musical from the Book of Revelation which many people thought to be confusing. He found out during his study of Revelation that the book was beautiful and exciting in spite of the catastrophic events during the seven year tribulation period of the book.
So with the sound and culture of the Bahamas, he cleverly took the music and lyrics and devised a musical method to take the fear out of the book. Then, he coordinated the props and costumes with the sounds of the Bahamas. He used bright Junkanoo colors on the characters in the musical. This made the musical very unique and different from the average musical that you would hear or see.
Chris believed that many of his religious friends would criticize him for using the culture and the Bahamian Junkanoo sounds of the Bahamas for the musical. Most of them thought that the culture and costumes of the Middle East would be more appropriate. But Chris’ idea was to present a Broadway-style play that was unique, different, and not confusing to people. It would educate them using the beautiful sounds of the Bahamas and still maintain biblical truth.
Chris said that there will be different opinions written by men about the Book of Revelation, but his play is not based on anyone’s opinion and it is only his attempt with the help of God’s Holy Spirit to present this beautiful prophetic book in theatrical and musical form. Sit back and enjoy the short excerpts from each song in Chris Fox’s Revelation the Musical.

A Tribute To Freddie
BYRON: According to Chris Fox, Freddie Munnings, Sr. O.B.E is the greatest musician to ever come out of the Bahamas. It was because of Freddie Munnings, that Chris Fox sought to create the highest of standard in music. Many great musicians and entertainers came to the Bahamas to perform at Freddie Munnings, Sr.’s, Cat & Fiddle club. Entertainers such as Nat King Cole, Sam Cooke, and Duke Ellington graced the stage of the Cat & Fiddle with the Freddie Munnings Orchestra. Chris stated, “There will never be another Freddie Munnings, Sr. in the Bahamas. He lived and talked music everyday until the day he passed away.” Freddie Munnings, Sr. left a musical legacy in the Bahamas that will last forever. His death left a great void in music in the Bahamas, and a high standard that is very hard to match.
MADDIE: A Tribute to Freddie is a compilation CD of Chris’ work during his many years of friendship with Freddie Munnings, Sr.. There are also new original songs by Chris Fox as well. Chris stated that he hopes that A Tribute To Freddie reminds all Bahamians about the great Freddie Munnings, Sr. and his famous Cat and Fiddle night club.
SCAT: The music is a fusion of the sounds of the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Latin music. Some of the best musicians in the world were part of the formula for the completion of this CD. Freddie would not have had it any other way. Chris Fox stated that quite often when he did a musical composition, he would always take it to Freddie to be approved. Chris’ final words for his dear friend were, “Freddie I hope you are watching and listening now. I need your approval and inspiration most of all. This tribute is for you.”
